What is Mac trackpad-like smooth scrolling?
It makes mouse scrolling feel smoother and more natural, similar to a MacBook trackpad. It is powered by INFTYLAB Glide and requires the desktop app.
-
Can I make the scroll direction match my Mac trackpad?
Yes. Set the scroll direction to Natural in the INFTYLAB Glide desktop app. Choose Standard for traditional mouse scrolling.
-
Is the 2.4G USB receiver Type-C or Type-A? Will it work with my computer?
The 2.4G USB receiver is Type-C and comes with a Type-A adapter. It works with both Type-C and Type-A ports.
-
Do I need to download INFTYLAB Glide to customize the mouse?
Not for basic customization. DPI, polling rate, and three button shortcuts can be set in the web version. Scroll settings, smooth scrolling, and Quick Pie require the desktop app.
-
What are the default shortcuts? Can I use them without installing software?
Yes. The mouse works without software, and the function buttons keep their macOS defaults: Mission Control, screenshot, and horizontal scrolling.

Are the forward button and the thumbl wheel the same thing?
Yes, the INFTYLAB M Mouse's forward button and thumb wheel are the same side control.
Scrolling it acts as the thumb wheel (default horizontal scrolling, changeable to zoom via the desktop software); clicking it acts as the forward button (which can be bound to system actions, multimedia controls, or custom key combinations in the software). -
Do I have to install the software to configure the mouse?
Some functions can be configured directly in the web version, including DPI, polling rate, and the custom shortcuts for the three function buttons.
Some items require the desktop version to adjust, such as scroll wheel settings and Quick Pie. -
Do the shortcuts I set apply to all software?
Shortcuts are written into the mouse hardware, so they work for most applications.
However, some applications intercept or define mouse input on their own, which may cause individual commands not to work or to behave unexpectedly. -
How can I check the battery level for my wireless mouse?
Check the LED on the front of the mouse: if the battery is below 15% at startup, the red light stays solid to indicate charging is needed. You can also install the desktop app to receive a low-battery notification.
-
Can I keep using the mouse while it's charging?
Yes. Just plug in USB-C to use it while charging, with no interruption to the connection. When charging is complete, the front indicator light on the mouse stays solid blue.
-
Can the INFTYLAB mouse be used on glass?
Yes. The INFTYLAB M Mouse's high-precision sensor works on most desk surfaces, including mirror-like surfaces such as glass.
-
Can I use INFTYLAB Glide on Windows?
Yes. INFTYLAB Glide works on both Windows and Mac—you can either install the desktop app or use the install-free web version to set things up.
-
Can I set different shortcuts for different apps?
Currently all applications share the same set of shortcut settings. If you'd like dedicated settings for a specific application, feel free to tell us which application you want, and we'll pass the request on to the development team for evaluation.
-
How do I pair my INFTYLAB wireless mouse with laptop or desktop computer?
The INFTYLAB M Mouse can connect to a computer in three ways: Bluetooth, USB receiver (Dongle), and USB-C wired. Bluetooth and the USB receiver can be paired through a two-step guide in the software; USB-C wired works simply by plugging it in.
-
How do I disable third-party applications so my mouse isn't affected by other apps?
There are two steps to make sure you aren't affected by third-party mice:
- First close any third-party mouse software running in the background;
- Go to System > Privacy & Security > Accessibility, and turn off the permission for third-party mouse software in the list.
After completing both steps, try scrolling again to see if it improves.
