    • What is the difference between the 180° and 360° rotation limits, and when should each be used?

If the back of your installed arm is positioned close to a wall, using the 180° rotation limit helps prevent damage to both the wall and the arm.

If there are no obstacles around your desk, you may use the 360° rotation limit to achieve maximum operational flexibility.

    • How can I verify if my desktop material is suitable for the INFTYLAB Studio Arm AM01/AM02 series?

If your desktop material is glass, hollow core board, honeycomb board, or MDF (medium-density fiberboard), the use of  Studio Arm is not recommended.

    • How can I disable the rotation limit function on the AM01 / AM02 pole?

The INFTYLAB Studio Arm AM01/AM02 is factory-set with a 180° rotation limit on the pole.

To disable this limit, please follow the steps below:

      1. Use the hand tool provided in the cable management box to remove the C-clamp, and prepare an M4 screwdriver to unscrew the base screws.
      2. Rotate the limit screw until it is parallel with the surrounding base surface.

    • How can I assess whether my desktop environment and workspace are suitable for the use of the AM01/AM02?

Desktop Material Restrictions: It is recommended to use solid wood, durable engineered wood, or metal desktops. Desktops made of glass, hollow core, or honeycomb structures are more fragile and, therefore, not suitable for monitor stand installation, as uneven stress may cause damage to the surface.

Desk Edge Structure Restrictions: If the desk edge features a bevel or a large rounded corner exceeding 2.5 cm, the desk clamp may not secure properly. In such cases, a through-desk mounting method is advised.

Under-Desk Clearance: If there are frames, crossbars, or partitions located too close to the desk edge underneath, the clamp may be obstructed and unable to fasten securely. Under these circumstances, a through-desk mounting solution is necessary.

Supported Desktop Thickness: The AM01 and AM02 support desktop thicknesses—from 15 mm to 70 mm (0.59" to 2.76")—for both clamp and through-desk mounting options.

Rear Clearance: If your desk is positioned flush against a wall with less than 11 cm of clearance between the desktop and the wall, the desk clamp may not fit properly. Additionally, please ensure sufficient space to accommodate the stand’s range of motion to prevent collisions with the wall when rotating or adjusting the monitor’s depth.

    • After installing the AM01 monitor arm, do I need to adjust the monitor’s tilt tension?

    • Is it possible to install the INFTYLAB Studio Arm AM01 / AM02 series monitor arm on a built-in or fixed desk?

The Studio Arm monitor stand offers two installation methods: C-clamp and grommet mount, both of which can be installed on the desktop.

      Please check the following:

      1. If your desktop has a cable management hole with a diameter greater than 6 cm, the C-clamp installation can be used.
      2. If the hole diameter is too small (less than 6 cm) or there is no hole, drilling a hole through the desktop is required. Please drill a hole with a diameter of 10 to 20 mm for installation.

    • Which Apple monitor models are supported by the AM01 monitor stand?

The following are the supported models for the AM01:

      • 2022 Studio Display VESA Version
      • 2026 Studio Display (XDR) VESA Version
      • 2022 Studio Display Tilt Adjustable Version (requires purchasing the SCS01F adapter)
      • 2026 Studio Display Tilt Adjustable Version (requires purchasing the SCS01F adapter)

Before purchasing, please note that if your monitor uses the Studio Display Tilt Adjustable Version, the stand cannot be detached.

      We recommend the following options:

      1. Contact Apple support to inquire if the stand can be exchanged for the VESA version, which may involve additional fees.
      2. Purchase the SCS01F VESA Adapter separately for expansion and conversion.

If your stand is the Tilt- and height-adjustable version, we do not recommend using an adapter solution.

    • Is it possible to install the INFTYLAB Studio Arm AM01/AM02 on a desk with beveled or rounded edges?

If the desk edges feature a bevel or rounded corner exceeding 2.5 cm, the stability of the clamp may be compromised. Therefore, it is recommended to ensure that the desk edges offer a flat and stable surface to facilitate the proper installation of the Studio Arm.

    • I would like to disassemble the stand, but the screw between the front and rear arms is stuck and cannot be loosened. What should I do?

Difficulty in loosening the screw may be due to the weight of the monitor and prolonged periods without disassembly. In such cases, it is recommended that two people work together to remove the stand. One person should support the monitor and gently lift it upward, while the other person loosens the screw.

Please ensure that your monitor is supported with both hands at all times during the disassembly process to prevent accidental drops and potential damage.

    • How should I operate the rotation of the top adjustment knob of AM01?

      1. If you are using the VESA version of the Studio Display, no adjustments are required, allowing you to enjoy optimal operation.
      2. If you are using the Tilt Adjustable Stand version of the Studio Display, please adhere to the following instructions:

2-1. Ensure that the Studio Display is securely mounted on the monitor arm.

2-2. Lower the monitor to its lowest height, then continue applying downward pressure until a "click" sound is heard. Afterward, rotate the knob to the next position.

      Please note:
The knob should only be rotated when the monitor is at its lowest position. Do not attempt to rotate the knob at any other height.
